Russia’s Sibur gets 21 bln rbl from Ust-Luga terminal sale
MOSCOW, Apr 7 (PRIME) -- Russian petrochemical company Sibur has received 21.335 billion rubles from selling a terminal at the port of Ust-Luga to a consortium of investors comprising the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Gazprombank and investors from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Singapore, Sibur said in a report Thursday.
The company will receive another U.S. $50 million, or 3.22 billion rubles, during a year from the closure of the deal and can receive 1.156 billion rubles within seven years.
The deal was closed in November 2015. Sibur will act as the terminal’s operator and ensure its loading with liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) under long-term contracts.
